Shouldn't Invite Missionaries to Anything Because We Actually Show Up

Hey everyone!

This was a pretty fun week! We did a whole lot of personal contacting in the earlier parts of the week with not much happening. We stopped by some people that were home but they couldn't meet at that time so hopefully we'll see them next week. I went on exchanges with Elder Moore this week and that was fun. We did a whole lot of tracting in the rain and practically everyone who answered was pretty mad at us, even though we were the ones in the rain. Oh well! It's to be expected as one who represents the Lord. I can't make everyone happy, but I can at least try. 

We also met a cool guy named Juan while walking down the street. We helped him turn his "got black sabbath?" window sticker into a "got sabbath?" sticker. We talked to him for a good chunk of time and he made it kind of hard to teach anything but he at least liked talking to us. We invited him to church and invited him to bring his family. He said he couldn't come this week and couldn't tell us when he could come but said he would eventually. He told us that if we wanted to see him and his family on Sunday we could come to his brothers surprise birthday party. Well, shouldn't invite missionaries to anything because we actually show up. We went! The water pressure at church was broken so we only had Sacrament Meeting. After church we then went to the party. It was a bunch of Hispanics so there was super good food and everyone was super nice to us. We rode up at the same time Juan got there and he was super happy that we came. There were probably about 30 people there and they invited us back to another one in a couple of months. Super fun.
