Hello all!
This week was pretty great! It snowed and was -4 at some
point and it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We
contacted a few referrals last week and they all are showing some real
potential, one of them had her pastor tell her not to meet with us and she
wasn't sure why but I think we addressed that because she said she would be
fine with us coming back again. This week was one of the best weeks in a while.
We had a lot of lessons that went really well last week. One of them with Dawn was
super good, in the middle of the lesson she interrupted us to tell us that she
was feeling really peaceful which gave us the opportunity to tell her that she
was feeling the spirit.
She really does want to learn and she has been reading
the Book of Mormon and said that she feels joy when she reads it. She's going
to get baptized one day. We had a whole bunch of other lessons as well that all
went really well largely because we were able to get some new members to come
out with us. It was Elder Fias first time seeing snow before and he loved it!
He wore flip-flops today but admitted that his feet were freezing, it was super
funny. This week I really tried to learn about Joseph Smith and I have grown a
new found respect for him and all that he did. I already knew that he truly was
a Prophet but now I know with more of a surety. Have a great week everyone!
Love you all!
-Elder Eddenfield
