Happy New Year!

Happy new year!

This week was pretty good. Elder Barnes got here safe a sound and it doesn't even feel like I have a new companion since I've already served around him. It's great! We had a couple of lessons with Sister Rainey this week. She has been a little out of it during our lessons, we think it's mostly because we've been having them at night. We are going to try and have them earlier to see if she is more alert during those. On Friday we taught Brett about forgiveness so he can work on forgiving his brother. He has a lot of built up frustration inside that is making it difficult for him to talk with his brother. We also went and read with Sister McCormick a few times this week. She's really opening up to us. On Saturday we didn't do much because we had to be in by 4 since it was New Years Eve. That morning we went to exchange the car with the other Elders and when we got to their apartment and called them we found out that they had been walking and had tried to take a shortcut into a forest and had gotten lost. Pretty funny actually. We eventually got an idea of where they were and some how drove to the exact location where they got out of the forest at the same time that they got out. It was pretty cool. During our down time we cleaned the apartment and I figured out the Districts monthly goals and stuff. We went and had dinner with the Garners as well, we could go to appointments until 7 by the way, which is why we could go eat with them. District Meeting went fairly well, it wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be, so that's good. That's about it for this week. We did a looooot of shopping today so I got less time to write.
