Moving Up In the World

Hello everyone!

This was a great week! We did lots of things this week but I can't quite explain everything that happened. On Saturday we moved into a new apartment in a much nicer, more central location and we are excited to work from here. It was a pretty crazy move because the lease was signed on Friday and we moved the next day. It was a pretty easy move and everything is already unpacked and the Spirit is being felt in the new place.
Church was really good and Ward Council was great as well. Assignments were made to reach out to members and invite them to the 4th of July Party and I mentioned how long I have left and got really bold with the council and told them that unless they help us we will never reach the Ward Council goal of 8 baptisms this year. I mentioned that I want to do everything in my power to help them during my last few weeks. Things got real very quickly. Now we are having a ward fast for missionary work this next Sunday and we got some Ward Council names of people to go visit and the closing payer was all about missionary work. Elder McCormick gave a talk and Elder Wilson and I said the prayers in Sacrament meeting and lots of people signed up to have us over. Things are happening! We went to a dinner for the YSA's and we got a referral from a new Sister in the ward as well. In a meeting for the missionary leaders in the Zone we set a goal of receiving at least one member referral a week...well, we received 1 referral and about 3 names to work with. We are going to get things going in this Ward.
Just for everyone's information, I am giving my homecoming talk in church on July 30th. I hope to see some of you there. I know that Christ lives and watches over all of us! I love you all! Have a great week! I pray that each of you can find one person that the Missionaries can bless this week.
Love,
Elder Eddenfield
